Aside from individual and organisational psychology, I also offer professional supervision for other psychologists and healthcare professionals in my region.

Professional supervision is a career-based psychological service that can help professionals utilise self-awareness and other psychological skills to improve their performance. This service typically involves regular meetings with a psychologist (supervisor) to assist you in the following areas:

  • Review and reflect on your current work practices
  • Discuss specific clients you are currently working with
  • Explore your feelings toward your work (e.g. anxiety, disappointment, frustration, ambivalence)
  • Receive objective feedback and guidance on work-related decisions or issues
  • Identify concerns for self-care and identify and implement self-care strategies
  • Develop or strengthen key professional skills
  • Gain information and suggestions relating to your practice (e.g. ethics, standards, processes) which promote your continuing professional development

I’m a STAP-accredited supervisor who provides professional supervision services including:

  • Provisional psychologists working toward general registration
  • Psychologists requiring supervision to meet continuing professional development needs
  • Psychologists and other mental health professionals who are seeking to gain skills in working therapeutically with people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds

I have supervised psychologists from many respected organisations, including:

  • The Department of Human Services
  • Headspace (Partners in Recovery Program)
  • Griffith University
  • Queensland University of Technology
  • Australian Catholic University
